You do not have to possess the talent of Michelangelo to create beautiful Trompe L'Oeil (fool the eye) murals. All of the murals on this page were created using the same simple techniques taught in all of our classes.

At Patina Studios we use water based glazes that produce oil quality depth and realism. A basic knowledge of linear and atmospheric perspective will transform a two dimensional medium into a three dimensional work of art. We currently offer three mural classes at various skill levels. Stephen Rigdon works closely with each of only four students per class. We work on light weight vinyl canvas that can be hung and removed like wallpaper.

At the end of class you'll be amazed at the results. You can use your mural in your home or as many former students have done, sell it to cover the cost of the class.
